After a recent contest DollsKill held, they posted an image of the winners and I decided to comment because I was slightly upset about the winners. I had thought the contest was for plus sized girls to be hired as models upon winning.

The girls that won were not the image of plus sized. After commenting that I wished them good luck and that they were beautiful, I also mentioned that I wished companies would branch out and add models with more diverse body types. I in no way meant disrespect to the company. DollsKill responded with a snarky response that the girls were size 10+, NOT plus sized and that I needed to "#getyourfactsstraight".

A company responded to a potential customer in not only a demeaning manner, but used hashtags in doing so. This came off as completely unprofessional. After apologizing and explaining I didn't mean to attack the company, they only responded by saying they weren't attacking me and were giving me information I was asking for. I wasn't asking for any information.

I was simply sharing my opinion. Bottom line, this company is VERY unprofessional and I will not be ordering anything from them.

Hashtags, bad spelling, and rude. No thanks.

They really just talk like that lmao. I read their about page online just now and they really say anything, and I think they were trying to keep up with branding. But yea that sounds so rude

I can't believe they'd respond to you like that. Dollskill definitely seems like an online store ran by teenagers.

I just had an email exchange with a person who, after I politely asked why they were insisting on erasing plus size persons from their site and using only exclusively skinny models, replied that they "were representing plus sized girls on their site and even had contests for plus sized girls". I see now what these "contests" were about ... What a poor excuse for a company.

I totally see where you're coming from, but that being said dollskill is a spunky company and I'm not surprised they gave you sass. To suggest to one company that they should use plus size models totally has good understandable intentions, but it's not just dollskill using skinny models....

Practically everyone does. Very skinny girls and plus size girls are both on the extremes of the weight spectrum and quite frankly neither are healthy....
